How the Medicine Platform Supports Users in Different Languages
Medicine Platform aims to benefit biomedical businesses worldwide. To achieve this, we have built a unified platform that accommodates 20 languages, covering over 80% of the global population.
(Currently supported languages include: English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Hindi, Malay, Urdu, and Ukrainian.)
This unified platform design, rather than separate country-specific sites, provides maximum convenience for cross-regional purchasing. Below is a guide to help you get started.
For Buyers:
How to search for products:
You can search for products using your local language. This will show you products that have been listed in that language. Typically, these products are from your country or region, or they are from other countries but are available for sale in your area.
If you can't find the product you need, you can also try searching in other languages such as English or Chinese. You can then contact the seller to inquire if they can ship to your country.
How to communicate with sellers who speak a different language:
On the Medicine Platform, you can communicate with sellers directly in your own language. The messages you send are automatically translated for the recipient. Similarly, messages you receive from them will be automatically translated into your language.
Understanding sellers' multi-language product listings:
On a seller's homepage, you can view the products they have listed in different language versions. This indicates that their products are available for sale in multiple countries.
It is normal for the prices of similar products to vary between countries due to differences in costs related to tariffs, shipping, and supply chains.
For Sellers:
How can my products be seen by users from different countries?
The Medicine Platform does not automatically translate your product content into multiple language versions. If you list a product in English, it will only be searchable by users who are using the site in English. If you want customers who speak Chinese, French, German, or other languages to find your product, you must list your product separately in each of those languages.
While this may seem a bit more work, it prevents the inaccuracies that come with automated translation—a risk that is irresponsible and can have serious consequences in the biomedical industry. Furthermore, this approach provides sellers with maximum flexibility. Specifications and pricing for biomedical products often differ between markets, and you can make these adjustments when editing different language versions of your product.
If your company does not have multi-language descriptions for your products prepared, you can also entrust this work to us. We will use a specially trained AI model for translation, followed by human proofreading. You can make further modifications based on our translation. The fee is $1 USD per product, per language.
